The Trinity Trust Celebrates Earth Day Dallas 2011

A 20-mile swath of nature runs through Dallas and includes the Trinity River. As stewards of nature, The Trinity Trust is raising awareness of this river and the projects surrounding it. The Trinity Trust exhibit included a plan rendering of The Trinity project detailing the lakes, Great Trinity Forest, trails and recreational areas. The model was made possible by a gift from CH2MHill, WRT and URS. Led by environmentalist Trammell S. Crow and other community leaders, this inaugural Earth Day Dallas Festival in Dallas Arts District attracted 48,000 people, many of whom were students.
