The Trinity Center
The Trinity Center is located in the Design District just blocks from the Trinity River levee. Opened in 2006, the purpose of the center is to educate the public about The Trinity project. The Trinity Trust, Texas Horse Park, and the Trinity Strand Trail have offices at The Trinity Center.
Amenities included in The Trinity Center are:
- A 20-foot long Trinity model that replicates components of The Trinity project
- Two 8-foot long models of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and the Margaret McDermott Bridge
(currently on display at the Queen Sofía Spanish Institute in New York City until fall 2009) - A wall-sized map of The Trinity project and surrounding areas
- Videos of the The Trinity project
- The latest renderings by the master designers
- PowerPoint presentations
- Brochures and up-to-date information
- 25 seated in the large boardroom; 6 seated in the small conference room
- 200 standing in the gallery and boardroom; 60 seated in the gallery and boardroom
